Our wedding is Black Tie Optional. For the ladies, we’d love to see floor-length or ankle-length dresses in light, summery colors—think elegant pastels, soft neutrals, or bright summer tones. Please avoid darker fall and winter shades. Since our ceremony and reception will be outdoors on the grass, we recommend block heels or flats for comfort and stability. Gentlemen can wear a tuxedo or a matching suit (ties or bowties welcome). Light or classic tones are perfect for the season. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style! In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

This will be an adults only event. People tend to pay a lot of attention to children, but they should be paying attention to me :)

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. The bridal party has been instructed to haze all late-comers mercilessly.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the venue. Plenty of parking will be available onsite for guests who choose to drive. At the end of the evening, a complimentary shuttle service will be provided for guests staying in the Cape Charles area. Please visit the Transportation tab for additional details.
