From high school sweethearts to long-distance lovers, and now happily engaged, our love story has stood the test of time. Our story begins in 2015, when Katie and Mason spent years walking past each other in the hallways of school. In the spring of 2021, Mason asked Katie on their first date. After visiting the beach and sharing ice cream, one date lead to another, and on March 15, 2021, Katie and Mason officially became a couple.

As they finished their final days before college, Katie and Mason went to prom together and enjoyed a memorable summer before beginning their long-distance journey. Despite being 164 miles apart, countless weekend visits and Facetime calls helped strengthen the unbreakable bond they share.

Mason proposed on August 17, 2024, on the beach in Sandbridge—a place that holds a special meaning for both of us. It’s where we first spent time together, had our first date, and shared summers lifeguarding side by side.

Katie thought she was heading to the beach with her family for a surprise vow renewal in honor of her parents’ 25th wedding anniversary. But when they arrived, Mason was waiting on the sand with the most beautiful setup. After the proposal, they returned home to an even bigger surprise: a celebration with all their closest friends and family. It was truly the most magical day!
